Tress is Brandon Sanderson’s first secret novel set in Cosmere universe. As with Sanderson’s other books, I really enjoyed the world building. Twelve aethers exists as moons on the planet Lumar and continuously rain down spores. The massive collections of spores form into the world’s oceans and each have different effects when activated. While the story is easy and fun, I didn’t enjoy all of the humor. It was finally nice to encounter Hoid though.
