The Tombs of Atuan

Having enjoyed A Wizard of Earthsea, I decided to continue the Earthsea series with The Tombs of Atuan. It tells the story of Tenar, as she is taken from her family in order to become the high priestess of the Tombs and rule over “The Place”. I appreciated how much time we spent with Tenar before Ged showed up and found it refreshing how conflicted she was with Ged’s choices.
