The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger

I’m a Stephen King fan, but for some reason I’ve always confused The Dark Tower series with The Stand (maybe because of Randal Flagg?). Having read The Stand in high school, I avoided The Dark Tower until this year. Consensus seems to be that The Gunslinger is the weakest book in the series, but I tore through it. As a fan of westerns, I was immediately engaged with Roland on his search for the man in black.
