The Alloy of Law

The first book in the Wax & Wayne Series starts off on an odd note. It takes a while to get comfortable with Waxillium and Wayne as the protagonists, but I guess that’s natural for the first book in a new series. However, by the end the heroes are pitted against the villains and we start to understand what’s happened over the past 300 years.
