Ringworld

Ringworld tells the story of the of a group of beings, Louis Wu, Teela Brown, Speaker-To-Animals, and the Puppeteer Nessus, as they explore an artificial world built in the shape of a giant ring. I chose the book as part of my ongoing influential sci-fi and fantasy series. The initial world building and the interactions between the characters were enjoyable, but I found it off-putting that a recurring plot point is who is or isn’t sleeping with Louis Wu.
