Borne

I enjoyed the film Annihilation, but never read any of Jeff VanderMeer’s book series. Instead, I started with Borne. It was an very unusual biopunk tale set in a post-apocalyptic world, full of bio-tech and genetically engineered animals. Needless to say, I’ve never read anything quite like it. I enjoyed it a lot and it gave me Scavengers Reign vibes.
